Kalamitsa Beach

Kalamitsa is situated at the west entrance of the city of Kavala. It is a favourite for quick summer breaks among locals and its quite busy all year long for swimming , sunbathing ,racket playing , walking, etc. It is only 3 km from the center and you can visit with a bus ( N8 , N4) or by just enjoying a short walk which many people do. There is free parking across the road and the beach is entrance free as well. Most modern amenities will be found there, like showers , changing rooms, WC as well as nearby snack bars and taverns.
